I've been looking a the stats of these cars and they seem to be impressive, and extremely good value for money, anyone got, or had one?

If you put "Logan MCV, review" in Google search box there a quite a few come up, some good, some not so.
I'm not a car snob but, well, I just wouldn't!
Dacia is in the same place that Skoda and Lada were some thirty years ago...you buy them (despite yourself) because you can't afford anything decent. (But just look at how Skoda re-invented itself...with a lot of VW help, of course).
The Perodua is much worse than the Dacia
Yes, I know that...they have about half a dozen dealers in the whole country, don't they?

HC, mate of mine has one of those, he's about 6' 6", has to take a run-up to get into it!
Cripes, I can't imagine. There is a dealer up the road from me.
I have done a "build your Dacia" on the website, and I have to say that they seem to represent very good value.

Mine come out at about £14,000 and I would be getting an awful lot of car for my money. So what if the resale value was low......at £14,000 who much cares ? A car to keep for at least 3 years I would have thought !

Catusdriver....James May did indeed like the Sandero ! I have never been able to understand why May stayed so long with the show, ( apart from the obvious, of course )
I bought my Hyundai when it was cheap and cheerful over 6 years ago. The prices have increased alarmingly since then, putting them in a similar price bracket to Vauxhall.

I have not had a single problem with it. I bought it with the intention of selling it after 3 years but I'm so pleased that I've kept it.
Good value car for the money, Khandro.
Zillions running around in France, the 'Duster' is especially popular.
The only issue I have with some of the more obscure makes/models is that there's a greater risk of having them pulled from the UK market, i.e. Chrysler, Chevrolet/Daiwoo, Daihatsu, Proton. In fairness, all of these have continued to offer dealer support.
Mikey444 sums it up quite well actually, you're not exactly paying a fortune for one in the first place so if you like it after a test drive, why not go for it?
@MantaRay

Dacia is a sub-brand of Renault, sold by Renault dealers. In some parts of the world they are badged as Renaults. Unless Renault abandons the UK parts and service will not be a problem.
keep the Honda mate.

///Dacia is a sub-brand of Renault///
and as i've said on here before I won't be buying one of them either.
But then, Daihatsu is a sub-brand of Toyota...but I take your point Cactusdriver, it seems a little more secure offering Dacia within the Renault dealership network.
My wife has a stepway, and is very pleased with it. It is two months old and white. It is the diesel model. Look good, drives well. Excellent mileage. She had all the extras, aircon, parking sensors, sat nav. She won't be selling it so depreciation is not an issue. She's happy, so I'm happy.
