i had a mustard coloured raleigh chopper . why did me mam think i liked the colour mustard.

i had a red trike when i was a bairn . one of them with a breadbin on it.

A little blue Raleigh I think it was a 14, which I got second-hand from my cousin.

I had a red chopper bike with tassels and then a Grifter in my teens. (bit of a tomboy then). My mum still has both of them in her shed. 2 x choppers and 2 x grifters (mine & my bruvs). I am trying to get her to sell them as i am now 32 but she said its best to hold on to them.

I had a Raleigh Striker, my brother a Grifter. What I really wanted was the Mongoose down the road or, if we won the pools, a Diamondback.

i had a grifter. my dad put some of the brake pads of one of his racing bikes on, and it could pull the most awesome skids on wet grass.
