The lyrics contain the lines "underneath your picture you wrote these words: You're too good to be forgotten . . ." It isn't the Amazulu or Mr. Big songs, and it sounds like Swing Out Sister (though it isn't). There were vocal and instrumental versions playing in 1986 or '87.

Chilites 1974 and Amazulu 1986

It was not either of those. It's a female lead singer and it has a smooth jazzy sound. Any other ideas? It's been bugging me for years.
The band's name is Full Swing. I've been trying to locate information about whatever happened to them but I haven't found anything. Good luck!
The group's name was 'Full Swing' and the song's title is called, '2 Good To Be 4Gotten', ... if you tried to Google it spelling out each word properly it's difficult to find. The key is to remember as the song states the phrase '2 Good To Be 4Gotten' would be written exactly as your average high school teen would write it, i.e., to be cute, different, etc., the phrase was very common and written like this during the mid-70's through late 80's.
