The world has turned white! the snow has finally found it's way here, and it's having a fine old time of it! I think it likes it here and has decided to stick around a while. Shan't be going far today!

Morning cara and kia. I was down on the canal yesterday. Not a lot of activity going on. i just checked the boat over then went for lunch in the Stables. Then I came home. Only a couple of inches of snow so far, but it looks set for the day. so by this evening it could be a different story!

Well we've had snow.. Gray is moaning about having to 'trudge' to schol after I received a text saying school was still open... how bloody northern is she! Crikey.. might have to think about relocating South..!! Oh and day two of 'Oh look.. there's a Joey in my bed'. Humph! Wouldn't mind.. but a Joey on one side and a Perry the pesky puss on the other... Lordy.. a girl needs her own space sometimes!!!

Thought you might like this picture of temperatures dropping to as low as -14C (7F) in some areas - the worst since 1995 - caused waterways like the Bridgewater canal in Sale, Cheshire to freeze over.

I am at work. I didn't want to be at work. I hoped I wouldn't be able to get into work.
Where's the 8 plus inches I was promised? Huh! (Story of my life that.....)
It's just grey and sleeting intermittently. I wanted snow banks, drifts, dramatic scenery and whiteouts. But more than that - I wanted the rest of the week off work :-(
