I feel like a write old miserable bossy boots cow this morning (well, actually that's fairly true to form)

But could we have some sort of weather related thread amnesty?

There's already three this morning. Four if you include the GM thread. Five if you include this one.

It is my least favourite part of being British.
spring is just a label, today is always simply the day after yesterday

Don't start on me Woof! ;)

Quite right Bibble. It's cold, It's been cold for ages. It's going to be cold a bit more. This should come as no surprise to anyone who's lived in this country more than 10 minutes.

Ugh, someone put the kettle on and get me my Valium.
lol at "write old miserable cow"
Just pull the curtains don't look !!!

Oh chuffin hell! Thanks for pointing that one out, no, realllllyyyy! ;)
Just be thankful you aren't Irish. They talk about the weather, death and car crashes...
Weather 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune...
Lol, this thread's given me a well needed laugh this morning, cheers Evi.

By the way it's black a snooky knocker here, ready to piss down ;0)

My school holidays were always spent with my Irish Grandparents. I loved them both deeply but god could they be massive bores!

(sorry Grandma and Grandad, love you really)

Actually, I'm still cross about the time, roughly 20 years ago that I was staying with them and didn't feel well. I asked if I could bring my blanket down because I was cold and was told by Gramps (he ruddy hated being called Gramps) that I couldn't possibly be cold because Grandma wasn't cold.

But I'm not one to hold a grudge. :)
quite agree with you ,while im in a sunny mood i'm going to put my washing out theres a nice south westerly wind so it should dry nicely ,then i'll make some dumplings for the stew light and fluffy as clouds .
When we were back last week the MIL got up each morning to collect the radio to listen to who had died over night.

She also popped in to the chapel of rest to pay her respects to an old lady that had died.

MIL - I popped in to see an old lady laid out to rest.
Her Son - What old lady?
MIL - A dead old lady!
Her Son - Did you know her?
MIL - No.
I shouldn't find that funny, really :-)
Whether you like it or not, there will always be W?A?H?R, perhaps you should have posted this in Cross Words? There is snow pleasing you today ;)

Without the 'W' the Queen would not reign, Sunny-dave might not be here, the good folk or Warminster would be homeless, none could whet their appetite in Food & Drink, Last of the Summer Wine would be visibly one fewer, no more Hot Dog stands at the fairs, Kleenex tissues would go bankrupt, no more lemon drizzle cakes ...

Cheer up Evian - things will be brighter LOL
