We may have lost our special relationship with America, but it seems that we are after fostering a special relationship with France.

What on earth will Barack Hussein Obama say?

If there is a word of truth in that report, then Cameron should be immediately tried for High Treason and summarily executed. What say you, AOG?
I can imagine the French pm smirking as he said "thanks for propping up Euro" then holding his hand to mouth and giggling along with the German pm.
Il faut souvenir que les francais ont eu une relation speciale et forte avec les Etats-Unis depuis le dix-huitieme siecle.
politically its called riding two horses. Is Obama going to stand there with Monsieur Sarcastic next to him and say "Oh I have a special relationship with Britain that is more important than the one with you." I don't think so.

It is all about schmoozing.
Its just not British people witnessing Blair's love-in with Bush that was so utterly cringe-making but some Americans also felt bad about it.

Maybe Obama was one of them and is determined a repeat never happens again. He's doing us a favour and our future definately lays in Europe.
I agree he is doing us a favour, but our future is not in Europe.
