Using a Tom Tom sat nav in USA

Hi, do I have to buy a special disc/programme to use the tomtom in the states and how do you go about it. Thanks all in advance.

You can buy an SD card containing maps of the USA and Canada. The price is either £44.95 or £45.95, depending on your TomTom model:

This depends on the model you have - many already have the USA built into them, check your mapsfolder.
