We are really looking forward to our holiday on the Norfolk Broads in September. We have not driven a boat before but know we will get instruction. We wondered about the right kind of shoes to wear on deck that will be safe and not slippery. Can anyone recommend any please?

Craft1948 - thanks for that.
You dont need "deck shoes " we go on our narrowboat every weekend and i and the rest wear ordinary trainers , just make sure the trainers have a good sole
I agree, trainers or those hiking type sandals with a good sole. Definitely not slip ons though, make sure they stay on your feet.
Take all your luggage in black bin bags, if you are going by car. There is no room on board for suitcases.
