Can anyone advise me about driving in Washington DC.  We are going there in November and are staying on Wisconsin Ave, Georgetown, to the west of the city. We are wanting to drive over to Virginia and I wonder if anyone can tell me how busy it is in this area (i.e. regular city busy or New York madness?!!)  Thanks.

hey, i'm from va.  umm, i live in Northern VA and if the traffic isn't too bad, then maybe it takes about 30 min.  However, once you get to DC, people drive like crazy. When you're driving to VA you'll feel a lot better.  It's cleaner and people drive better. VA is awesome.  Are you gonna do anything fun? Much love, KK
