I've recently been arrested, after being in a car (not mine) where the driver had drugs. I was not aware of the drugs being in the car, i was released without charge or any further police action. I have booked an appointment at the US embassy, but just wondered if anyone else had been through the same thing and did they get a visa. Do u think i will be able to get a visa? After reading other questions should i just go without applying for a visa?

I wouldn't bother applying for a visa; but since you've already booked an appointment it might look odd cancelling it. Best to go ahead and tell them what happened. I can't think they would refuse you a visa.
as jno says, you'd have been better off leaving it. Too late now though, so good luck, but I can't see you getting it.
