travelling to France

Hi. looking for recommendations on places to visit in France next summer, preferably Loire valley or north of, somewhere rural with self-catering. Any help plz. thanks

Angers and Tours are lovely. The Bay of the Somme is Nice too especially St Valery, Le Crotoy.
