Petworth, Sussex

Can anyone recommend staying at Petworth for the weekend? Thinking of staying in the Old Railway Station, but what is there to do in the area during the day? Any good pubs and restaurants in the evening? We are 50 ish but young at heart !

Nearby is Petworth House, a National trust property
