Hi people! I am going to Dublin with a few mates over the Easter weekend. I have heard that on Good Friday, everything is shut, is this true? Is there anything special on around Easter time? Also, is there anything I must do while Im in Dublin?! Thanks in Advance.

the irish are quite a religeous nation,i expect all will be shut on easter sunday as well,like the uk,you should have picked a better place to go.

I'm Irish, and i can tell you that all pubs are shut on Good Friday, rut some nightclubs open but don't serve drink until 12 midnight, I'm sure you'll find plenty more to do, and the Irish like to make up for it on easter Saturday so - happy days!
