Two questions is 1 here....
1.would you recommend travel insurance for a week camping in cornwall?
2.can anyone recommend a campsite in newquay? we're only staying for one night and going out on the sauce just for a bit of a knees up at end of holiday, so need it to be v near newquay centre, and not TOO family orientated...!

What do you want to insure against? Most people wouldn't bother in the UK but if you would lose a lot if you cancelled then you might think it worth it. The main reason when going overseas is medical which you don't need here.

not been there for 10 years, but when I last went it did what it said on the tin, so to speak.
you could probably claim for lost property under your household insurance; travel insurance is useful for delayed departures, plane crashes and so on but you probably won't need it. Also bear in mind that insurance may not cover you when on the sauce anyway.
