Me and three of my friends want to go to a holiday park like Haven, Pontins or something after our GCSE results come out so around the 26th of August. We're 16 and would prefer to go to somewhere near Liverpool, Blackpool or Manchester. What do you advise - which park? thanks x

I think you may have trouble finding a place.

Many of these parks will not take bookings from young people, or allow single sex booking (al males, all females)

For example the Haven web site says

Can we book a holiday if we are 21 years of age or under?

A) Haven and British Holidays Parks and their facilities are intended for families and adult holidays. We are therefore sorry that we cannot accept bookings from persons of 21 years of age or younger. We are unable to accept bookings for couples, or groups from this age group, whether single or mixed sex.

best thing you can do. If you are going somewhere like haven is book a caravan privately not thru haven . many people rent their caravans out. blackpool seems your best bet for the 3 places u have stated. good luck
There's a Pontins in Southport, where you can get a direct train to both Liverpool and Manchester, whilst it's not a particularly busy place, it has a massive beach and decent night life.

I'd get someone over 21 to book for you, maybe even give names that could be both male or female (chris(tine) / les(ley) to make it look like a mixed sex party?! Don't know what there policy is for checking in though?
