What area of the country are you looking to go to?
I've answered dozens of questions from people looking for campsites (for tents). My prime source of information has always been this website:
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/

If you go to the 'advanced search' page, you can select an area of the country and then restrict the search function to only finding site which offer tent pitches:

If North Wales takes your fancy, how about this:

either to cornwall or to wales x
Well, I've already given you a suggestion in North Wales. Here's one for Cornwall:

We went to the Haven site at perranporth called Perran Sands a couple of weeks ago - we stayed in the eurotents and booked last minute - so got a really good deal. The camp site has good amenitites for all ages..and there is access to the beach from the site.

Have never camped in either wlaes or cornwall, so can't give a personal recommendation, but found this site for newquay as we had been thinking of going there this summer.

If you change your mind and want to come to Scotland, I might be able to help.
