There's never any need to apologise for posting Dire Straits, LiK!

While I've got eclectic tastes in music, embracing 'world music' from across the globe, Dire Straits will always be my favourite 'mainstream' band.

If one was to buy an album from most other groups at the time they were around, there would be one or two of their single hits on it, plus another one or two other 'quality' tracks but at least half of the album would just be 'filler' material. If a Dire Straits album was purchased though, every single track would be first rate.
