Used these before: http://www.cheapflights.co.uk

You don't get too much difference from the websites as they are portals to tour operators so they all get much the same rates to display.

If you know where you want to go, try Ryan Air for the cheapest seats, but expect a bit of planning to get to the detination and then accommodation.

Best deal I got for Turkey was with Flythomascook.com and to avoid having to pay it all up front, get the price, then phone up Thomas Cook and they will normally match the web price but only ask for a �50 per person deposit.

Try the airline direct - with budget airlines it will always be cheaper and some of the time with standard airlines. They all have websites.
