I'm trying to decide which branch to drive to myself, from my home here in Suffolk. Should it be the one in Penzance, perhaps, or the one in Elgin? They're both equally logical choices, or so it seems ;-)

why would you drive 100 miles for rubbish food.?
Never had one, never will.
webbo is taking this too seriously

drive to the furthest
and without your glasses ( of course!)
and then when the police stop you .....
say you wanted to drive like the wavy lick of moutarde (*) on the top of said boyger

(*) moo-tar of course - you are English

I've had 2 Mcd's in my life, the second one was to confirm the first one
was as bad as I thought it was, and yes it was.
Rubbish food is everywhere so no need to drive miles for it.
I've checked and there is one at Long Rock; one in Falmouth and one in Newquay. You're welcome to any of them but as someone once said 'count me out'.
I like the occasional burger but I wouldn't travel for one. McDonalds deliver round here.
And me LJ, yeuckkkk
Best answer for Baldric.
ummmm - what is an occasional burger? Ham burgers - yes. beef burgers - yes. vege burgers - yes. I understand what they are but don't know what an occasional burger is. Please.
Best answer for Balders? Oh no as an RM he should be used to making instant decisions and sticking with them as being the best.
Having a burger occasionally. I usually only have a burger at the airport.
ummmm - thanks for the explanation.
because they're worth it.....
Isn't that L'Oreal ? ;-)
The operating income of fast food burger chain McDonald's amounted to approximately 9.07 billion U.S. dollars in 2019.

Not bad for ' rubbish' food
Food snobbery perhaps? :-)
McDonalds burgers are made out of 100% Minced beef, the same as regular minced beef you buy in the shops except ground up finer. There are no cereals, fillers or preservatives. They are cooked on a griddle with no added fat and there is nothing 'unhealthy' about them - unless you eat them every day and the chips and bread are likely to be worse for you than the meat pattie.
Food snobbery ?

Quite possibly so
I'm just not a burger eater , that's all
APG - I know a young person who works for Macdonalds and he would not eat a burger. Don't think it's food snobbery but he says they are rubbishy stuff. In fact only about two of the young workers there eat them, the rest of the staff shun them.
