Free Flight App

Does anyone know of a free app that you can use whilst on an aeroplane that will show you your current location.

Well obviously flightradar24 shows you that but it won't work in a plane on flight mode. Even GPS doesn't work on a plane in flightmode does it? I know some airlines are planning to allow the internet.

ive used this at home but does it need an internet connection to work as when you fly they as you to put your phone in flight mode.

most of them have that in the back of the seat anyway.

Flightradar24 won’t work on a flying aircraft you need internet or a 3G connection at least.
