Can anyone tell me which is the best railway station for me to travel to see a show at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff?
Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street look quite nearby on the map, but I get lost very easily and I'll be leaving Cardiff late at night.

From London line, it's Cardiff Central. From the valley's it's Queen Street. Both just a few minutes walk.
Have you looked at their web site, this sort of info is always covered on arena web sites.

It says:

On the Main South Wales to London railway line - alight at Cardiff Central Station. From the Valleys, alight at Cardiff Queen Street Station. The Arena is just a few minutes walk from both stations.
AnswerBank is sometimes a briefer Google for some people.
Central (Caerdydd Canolog) and Queen Street (Caerdydd Heol y Frenhines) are not on the same lines so it depends where you are coming from.

I have googled train times and places.
I also said in my OP that I get lost easily and that I would be leaving Cardiff late at night. I thought someone who knew Cardiff might be able to advise me on the better one to take given those two facts.
Thank you to you and Guilbert for your answers.

Thank you too, jackdaw. I'm coming from the SW. It looks like the train home is the same one from either station so, I think I'll get the Central.
CloverJo, where are you travelling from, if you don't mind me asking?
If you told us your station of origin we would know.
You have to use Central CloverJo, you can't get your train from Queen Street.
If you are coming from the SW of England then Central is your only option. Queen Street is mainly for local Welsh services.

Thank you all. I think I'm sorted now. :)
The simple way to look at is, if you have to cross the Severn Estuary, you will arrive and depart from Cardiff Central.
