I looked in on Answerbank about seven this morning, had a cup of coffee or two then went out and did a couple of hours in the garden.
I'm back now and see that sniping at each other over nothing has been elevated to an Olympic event on some threads and it occurs to me, not for the first time, that some folk need to get another interest in life rather than sitting on here all day.
I'm away to get decorating supplies now, try not to carry on the less than good work.

People are individuals, some irriate each other, some fall out, some get along, some support each others' views. It has never ever been any different since Day One.

What makes you think it will, or indeed that it should be any different?

Well I don't often join in but the sniping and debates that go on in News and R&S are the only thing left on the site that's vaguely enervating. everywhere else has become a constant stream of woes, illnesses and bereavements that although I have every sympathy for I just find them depressing.

The 'left/right' thing drives me daft - there was a thread the other day that read like the blasted lyrics of the Hokey Cokey - I went quite dizzy and no one made much sense on it anyway.
