I will be in Amman for a week in mid November.
Q1 What can I do there, where can I meet people?
I have seen other sites outside Amman - Petra, Jerash, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Dead Sea......
Q2 How can I get to Dana in cheap way, as I can't afford a driver guide?

Petra is a must Pikot ! Its a place that I have always wanted to see and its unlikely that I will ever do so now....enjoy it for me !

^Not easy from Jordan. It's in Egypt and on the other side of the Sinai desert - not a journey I'd choose to make in the current climate.
