I'm hpoing to go to Sydney next year but I'm not looking forward to the flight.  I've got long legs and would like to know which airlines are more generous with their seat space than others.

Any ABers been on a nice reasonably comfortable plane to Australia in economy, I can't afford to go first sadly!

Thanks!

I flew to Perth with Singapore Airlines, booked through Trailfinders.  I'm chlaustraphobic so requested emergency exit seats, lotsa extra leg room :-)

Maybe you could find some information here:

Air NZ are pretty good. Their 'seat pitch' is at the high end of the scale but is actually better than most because they have thinner seats (but just as comfortable).  On the other hand, I don't know if they've upgraded to seatback videos yet.

They do go the long way round though, via LA, so may be not what you need. You can of course ask for door seats, but you won't be the only one doing so.

Hi. I've recently travelled with Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines and both offer good leg room in economy. My girlfriend is 6ft and has long legs and even she was ok. Normally she has to have an aisle seat so she stretch them out.
Also Singapore airlines have fantastic 'on demand' in flight entertainment. This means you have a choice of over 100 films, cd's and games and you watch them when you want. You can even pause and rewind them!!

Fly with Emirates via Dubai - they are a fantastic airline - i had no troubles and am 6ft3 - plus the stopover really helps!
