I Went To The Shop Today....................

I always leave my list on the table, thankfully, I recall it all once in the shop, the writing is the important bit.

I always write a list, but when you only want bread and milk I didn't think I needed one. I clearly did.

Hmmm,the BH sometimes makes a list and will often as not leave it on the table but can never remember what was on it once in the shop!!!

Oh i do that sometimes, i go for something and when i get there i pick up everything on offer and forget what i went for ;-p

Mostly stuff that we don't immediately need. Detergent, softner shower gel etc.

Usually write a list, put it in my pocket and then never look at it. Agree, writing means I remember most. Not however the vital part.

I usually remember what I actually went in for when I am just reaching a till. Then it is a toss up whether to put groceries on belt and run back, or just go away back to shopping. The third option is one I have done successfully and throw myself on the mercy of the till girl. I have just remembered I need X. And she finds someone to go and get it.
Jeza you are perfectly normal. We all do it all the time.

I always do a big shop on Mondays coz it's quieter, but every Monday even when the 'fridge is packed I still have nothing for the evening meal and end up with egg and chips.
