I have a 2002 ford mondeo 2.0 Ghia TDDi at what mileage do i change the cambelt?

I've just bought a 2001 mondeo, (PETROL!) and asked the same question.

The dealer said never, because it's a chain, not a belt. Apparently they last for donkeys.

Check www.fordmondeo.org. They'll know if the diesel has a chain like the petrols.
