Who would have thought I'd be saying that after the extreme heat of the past week or so!

Its overcast and very breezy here on Leics/Rutland border and its decidedly cool, I have been gardening and sitting outside reading the paper and my legs and feet are frozen - I have come inside for a warm!

The cloud and breeze has come inland from the East Coast, I dread to think what it's like on the beach there! Brrrrr!

....... and we would love to be where you are Neti - which part of Ibiza do you live in? Its 43 years since we went, a very quiet island in those days and was only our second holiday abroad! We stayed at the Columbus hotel in San Antonio with its sister hotel Milord next door. SA was a quiet little town with pretty fountains on the quayside and we used to catch the little ferry boat across from the hotel to the town every evening and watch the boats and the fishermen landing their catch. I can't imagine how it must be now - too noisy by far for us! Loved the North of the island though and visited lots of little villages to see how the locals lived - that is more our kind of holiday. :)

Not your fault then Shaney, so I can't blame the East Coast! Just you wait until we come to you in August, your weather will be awful, it always is for our holiday ;)
