I haven't on other airlines, and refuse to do so as I am not bothered about any particular seat.

we'll I've booked my seat online but you never know nowadays if they are going to charge you for these little extras like a boarding card, as they like you to 'do it yourself' don't they ?
Don't they have self check-in at the airports?
Given that she is flying Aer Lingus (see Thread title above), that refernece to Ryan Air is about as useful as the proverbial fart in a space suit, LCDMAN :=)
^^"refernece" is this a new form of address to a relative, DT?
the joys of the typo, nibble.....not the mind; however I do need to check my references.
1st think, 2nd type........3rd reda(?)....4th submit
If I may: as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit.
as useful as a chocolate teapot/fireguard.

Happy to help. :)

Well if anyone else needs to know-- you don't have to print off the Boarding Card, they will give you one at the check in and no, you don't have to pay (like you do for a lot of things these days with flights). And I noticed that even though I did check in online and put down the seats I wanted for return flight, they gave me different seats !
