I asked about needing to show another id at the airport. So I don't need to show a driver's license?

No you don't. A passport is the ultimate ID - to travel to another country that is all you need in terms of ID.

If you want to hire a car, I'd advise taking a driver's license!

If that were the case, how would people who can't drive travel?
