Well, it depends what you mean by "quite nice"! For some people, 21 deg C is pleasantly warm, while for others nothing under 27 deg will do. Here in Cyprus the weather in March is generally what you would expect in June or July in the UK, though it is the tail-end of the rainy season (not that there's been any rain to speak of since February!) and you can't rule out the odd chilly day; but then that's true of anywhere in the Med at that time of year. If I were you I'd look at either Cyprus or The Canaries; both about the same flying time (4 -5 hours give or take). Recently we've had the best weather in Mediterranean Europe in Cyprus; today it's been about 24 deg even where we are, 3000ft up in the mountains, and we've hardly seen a cloud in the last month.

as narolines says, it depends how nice you want your temperatures. I wouldn't recommend a 6 hour flight for a beginner, though. Cyprus, Agadir (Morocco), Canaries (the south side of the islands) are closer and should be in the high 60s.
What about Maderia, Malta or Canaries?
