Have downloaded the latest version of FF and now it won't load.

As a Macbook Pro newbie I am not that familiar with OS X. Any ideas?

To explain further, I have been using FF for a while, I've upgraded a few times, last Weds I downloaded V 3.6.12.

FF won't load but appears to be running in the background and I don't know how to load 'Taskmanager'.
FF3.6.12 should run normally. If you think it is running in the background click the Apple icon top left of menu bar, then click Force Quit. That will bring up a list of running applications. If it is in that list then Quit. I would suggest removing Firefox app. Then download a new version of 3.6.12 and install from fresh

Thanks Milvus, I'll try that, is easy when you know how. As a long time windows user I'm learning some 'new ropes'.
