recently i have been getting the above on this site followed by error page when i click ok, it hasn't happened before and i don't think anything has changed on my pc.

i did some googling and found that ie8 was meant to correct this, but it seems not for me. some further googling indicated some gobbledygook about scripts.

it only seems to happen on this site (so far)? can anyone offer simple advice for a simpleton?

I too experienced the same error whenever vist this site. IE8 works fine until you navigate to a couple of more clicks, then boom 'Operation Aborted, had to shut IE8 and relaunch to correct the error. I tried resetting IE setting but same error. I wonder if AB Editors are aware of this?
This sounds like a very odd problem. I will look into it.

Just clicked back to Answerbank, it happened again. Had to shut down my IE and do a relaunch. Other sites I visted appears to be fine.
I find this happens on my work pc but not home.
I click the 'ok' which then gives the error message and then simply click back and all is fine again.
