I was trying to install bluetooth in a labtop but it stopped with with the answer "Error 267". Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Would that be widcomm, bluesolli, broadcom, or one of the other many bluetooth stacks?

Thanks Chuckfickens, its a bluetooth usb adaptor key (blue soleil) but when i run the
cd to install the system the message ERROR 267 comes up after a few seconds.I ucessfully installed it into my desktop computer but when i tried it on the labtop the error message came up.

I should have (yet again!) asked what version of windows....

If it's vista or windows7 you are probably trying to install a version that isn't compatible, you should be able to download the latest version for free from either the USB dongle manufacturers site, or from the bluesoleil website. (check the docs that came with the dongle, they should give you details)
