Your pc will play it. Or if you have the correct software you could copy it and re-burn it to make it playable.
Handiest thing to do is find a dvd player from the likes of Aldi or Lidl. usually about £20 they play all regions.

Depending on your DVD player, some can be hacked with a code that will let them play multi region DVDs. If you put the make and model of your DVD player here you might get some help.

similar to as stated above, Google your make and model + 'region unlock' and you should get what you seek.

Whickerman's answer is best solution. The DVD will probably be NTSC not Pal as well as region 1.
