adobe updates

slightly different question to alavahalf's - I use the internet for emailing, skype and for a bit of info when needed - the latest adobe flash player looks as though it does everything except play the piano and I haven't even heard of most of what it does and don't really understand how it all works anyway. anyone know if it's worth me downloading all the latestest updates, there really are a lot! thhanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, flash is massively bug ridden and the updates fix the bugs as they are found.

thanks Chuck - what would I be using adobe for anyway? (don't have to explain to you I'm thick cos you already know having sorted out several of my probs.)
