If I buy a new laptop, can I transfer all the programs that I have already bought ie Microsoft Office etc on to it?

If you have the Office disc it can be loaded on to 3 computrers so if the previous laptop was the first or second time you'd used the Office disc then yes you can. Hope this helps!

Thanks for that. What about all my letters, pictures and videos though?
You can simply copy these onto removable media such as a USB key and then paste them onto your new laptop's hard drive.
Ah, the only way to do that would be to put them all on disc, USB stick or external harddrive then transfer them over. Or, if you have an email adress like hotmail or yahoo then you could email them to yourself and open them on the new computer.

The perfect time to buy an external hard drive to back up all your files.
Easy to transfer them between pcs and every pc user should have a reliable back up.

Use the File and Settings Transfer Wizard. That's what it is there for.
