Virgin are changing things regarding Emails.

I use Outlook Express, and have tried clicking on the quick convert button with no success.

I am informed that this will not work using Firefox and one as to make the rather complicated changes one's self.

I tried doing it using my non default browser Internet Explorer but still it won't do it automatically.

Has anyone any simple instructions to get me over this obstacle please?

I had the exact same problem and couldn't solve it. I have decided not to worry about it. If I am affected by the changes I will simply log on to my email via the Virgin website and set up Outlook again.
Manual editing is not that complicated...

I did what you said and got the following message:

/// Unfortunately, our settings tool will only work with Internet Explorer. If you are using another browser you can copy this address 'https://www.virginmedia.com/account/email-se
ttings-change.php'
into Internet Explorer 6, 7 or 8, or you can change your settings yourself using these manual settings.///

/// If you continue through to our settings tool it will redirect you to our manual settings.///

Back to manual settings.

ABerrant I will have another go later, thanks.

How do I know if I have Outlook Express 6, and what happens if I don't?
To check the version of OE click on the Help button and select 'About Microsoft Outlook Express'. OE6 is standard from Windows XP onwards.

To be honest it should make little difference which version you are running since manual configuration has changed little from version 4 (1998) and is exceedingly similar to that for MS Outlook versions covering the last decade.
