how can i get open office back??

i´d been using open office for a couple of months now, its been great. but recently as i didnt need it for a few weeks, as i needed to free some space from my os(c) drive, i removed it, uninstalled it. Now i need it back, do you think i can? i´ve tried everything including patience. i just recently found a posible download, but after 3 attempts its driving me nuts!! eg i click to download, then after 15mins, the screen goes dark, when i click enter, its gone, no record of it anywhere. this has happended 3 times.
its weird cuz it was easy when i downloaded it the 1st time a few months ago.
any suggestions?

it just stopped downloading, Just been reading the part of the page, which says any problems downloading? it says if the download doesnt work for you, please manually select a mirror close to you!!
does this make any sense? if so, explain please

a mirror is anothr location the file can be downloaded from, so if one place isn't working you can download it from another mirror.

well the one mirror just showed me a load of numbers on a blank page, the other mirror took me back to the same page i´d been to b4, and where you sent me the 1st time. and the same thing happened again, downloading again for 15 mins, screen went black, pressed enter, and the download just disappeared from the screen.
maybe i shud try again tomorrow or are there other mirrors ?

i wonder if my new anti virus is blocking the open office download?, its called AVG, and was free

now i´m totally confused!!
yesterday, when trying to download OO, it said it would take 2 hours or more, so ran out of time and battery power. i returned this morning to download OO, and it said it would take 25 mins!!. so i downloaded it, but its not what i wanted, it seems to be just a load of applications. i was expecting what i got b4, something to compose messages and save onto my harddrive.
