Can anyone beat this? Called this rubbish provider at 11--10AM & Still waiting, would you call this good service? think on all you people.

well done twr,looked up on orange but just getting mobiles!! still looking for a good provider
thats ok imhotep ,i dont use the phone much but do use internet so dont want to pay over the odds for a line rental when i only want internet

There is no problem Imotep, the point of this post was to show disgust over a ISP that gives out crp service with no ( Within reason < not half a bloody day) My friend has just told me she has been paying for NON Internet service with this comp for 1 year without the internet, she is a friend of my wifes but does not like causing bother, that is untill my wife told me GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I love to help people especialy when BIG Bsdsds try to rip them off. Namely TLK TLK, you get my meaning????
twr the broadband service with talk talk is free ,that will probably why they haven't told her about it if she has paid for it make sure she gets her money back and yes i do agree they are crap i just dont have many other options sorry if i didnt make that clear when i posted my answer

Out of interest does anyone pay for their Broadband.I pay £15 a month to TalkTalk for this service.
My landline is with a different company.The phone bill doesn't add up to much anyway.
My mother and I hardly use the phone, but only when necessary,and I've got my own mobile which I use fairly often for texting and the odd phone call.
I hardly enter phone-in contests as I think that these can be quite expensive to do.

It used to be more than £15,so I contacted them and said that the previous charge was a ridiculous fee to pay.
So the person who replied said they could reduce it down to £15,and I'm fairly happy with that.
i suppose I could have a shop around and see if there is a cheaper option perhaps.
Oh my, I think SupaStar is a bit upset about TalkTalk.

With respect to your answer Cherry, there is nothing in this world for free but when someone signs up to an agreement it should be honored, the Comp in Question TLK TLK would be the first to send a notice if payment was stopped for a service that they say they can provide & it seems that this comp cannot fulfill their agreement. regards my friend payment to this comp, I am very strong in my views & comments it does get me in bother but I believe in what's right, Tlk Tlk knows it otherwise they would not have offered to come out FREE OF CHARGE to sort out the problem, I wish everyone else would do the same & stand their ground then these BASDS would not get away with sending you to OP 1 OP2 OP3 OP4 OP fkg 5 at the end of the day FREE CALLS are not free to the person that makes the call but are charged to person you are calling, so In my case as its my 2 days off I would have sat here waiting for them to answer with their OP1 OP2 OP3 OP4 ( Options)
i understand what you are saying twr ,i should have said it came with the package sorry as i said i dont want to be with talk talk, i also don't like the way they deal with customers but also had same problems with bt which is my only other option at minute and they are more expensive for the same deal that is the only reason i am still with them ,the only good service i got was with virgin media who were telewest at the time
I too had a problem with Talk Talk - they have a forum on their website, post your complaint there as I did and as it is a public forum, they crack on with sorting out your issue pretty fast, they did with me.
There was another disgruntled customer using Talktalk in today's Times. He said when he tried to cancel his contract he was cut off and they refused to answer his calls.
I have been with Tiscali for years but they have been taken over by Talk Talk, thankfully I have had no problem with them which has not been sorted out speedily so far so I'm hoping this continues. I pay £24 and get free calls plus free calls to Australia and other countries, 24/7 the main problem I have is that I have to pay for ALL 08 numbers, and that includes 0800 so I try to always ring a landline number. I ring Australia on a regular basis and it never costs me a penny. Whenever I ring a company to complain about their service, I ALWAYS, say to the person who answers the phone, "If I sound abrupt, Please don't take what I am saying personally as I am not getting at you, I am getting at the company, but you being their representative always end up getting the flack" 99.9% of the time I have found this approach to be better than shouting and bawling at them even though I really want to scream and shout, and tell them they are a waste of space. I do hope that now that Tiscali have become Talk Talk, I continue to get the service I have come to expect, otherwise I will be changing my ISP

I hope you do not get problems with Tlk Tlk, My friend was at her wits end with this shower of Crp she, as you was enticed by the free calls to Oz + Holland as her family's are out there as I explained earlier the trouble she had trying to get through was trying to get the PM for tea It was totaly disgusting, she has been without the Server for 12 months & did not know in what direction to go, I may not be a whiz kid in my grammar but when it comes to people's rights I will fight & that's what happened in-turn TLK TLK wavered the call out fee of £165 from what I was told by my friend & they will be at her home on Wed the 13Th Jan, I give this comp some stick in their on -line survey & told them what I thought about their service, so-called free phone & all the rest of their Crp service, within an hour she received a call from the server to say SORRY they think that is the end of it but I do not, When they have sorted the Internet out I will then get them to sort out a 12 month refund for her, as I had said she is on her own, unwell, 7 to make matters worse could not get out to Holland at Xmas to see her family. Hi Rov, as regards that person that you mentioned I can believe it but as said I would have been on the phone for as long as it had taken, if that would have been 2.3.4.hrs I was on my days off so I did not bother as the so-called free call was costing TLK TLK not me, just to conclude, I would suggest to people out there if you are looking for a ISP ask the forums for advice.
