I've been using powerline adaptors to get online with my xbox 360. They work really well apart from one small restriction; they have to be plugged directly into a mains socket and wont work on a 4-way extension block.

Not sure if this is a particular restriction with the model I'm using (manufactured by AddOn). I'd like to get ones that do work in an extension block. Does anyone know which ones would work?

none of them are recommended for use with extension leads, if the distance between the two plugs isn't too far they should work but the network speed would be reduced, if the distance between the two plugs is too far they just won't work with an extension lead.

Thanks Chuck. A fast and concise answer as always! Will have to do some experimenting or buy longer ethernet cables to reach mains sockets!
