The property you need to set is "Slide Transition". By default it's set to advance on mouse click.

You need the "Task Pane" up. Hit CTRL+F1 to bring this up if it isn't already.

At the top of the Task Pane, from the drop down list select "Slide Transition".

You can then untick the "On Mouse Click" button and apply this to all slides.

Not sure exactly what you mean about hyperlinks but if you select the hyperlink and right click the border you will get a menu. Click on "Action Settings" and there you can specify that happens when the object is clicked, slide advance is one of the options or you can hyperlink to whichever slide you specify.
