I once had the AVG anti virus programme loaded on my computer, all I have now is the remains that I just can't get rid of.

For instance the AVG Kernal Error keeps returning on my screen telling me the language file failed. How can I get rid of this annoying residue of programme "bits" that won't shift.

Many Thanks,

Barbara.

It will probably be best if you reinstall from http://www.grisoft.com then use the correct uninstall facility they provide. After that, search for any files that have AVG or grisoft in the file name and delete it. After you do though make sure that you leave it in your recycle bin so that you can restore it if your system doesn't run OK.

Personally I like AVG, it works well.

Good luck.
