Last night my car remote would not work. "Battery" I thought. I tried the spare remote, still nothing. So I locked the car with the key with no problem.

This morning I tried again and everything worked fine.

Anyone have an idea what went wrong?

Sometimes if there are lots of other cars around, your signal can get lost.. It happens to me sometimes in super market car parks.

Hmmm...maybe, but never happened before. Thanks Kira.
yes signal, if it happens again, get in car put key in egnition and only turn once and lock car with remote whilst still in egnition then unlock, should get signal back.

4getmenot,
When you say "only turn once" do you mean just turn on the ignition without starting the car?
yep in girl talk :-) and lock yourself in then unlock it

Gotcha now. Ta very much.
You are very welcome :-)
And sometimes the battery connection in the remote works loose , the solder cracks and parts.Easily repaired by someone who has a small tip soldering iron.
