laptop battery

i was just wondering, on average how long does your laptop battery last once youve unpluged it?

Depends what you're doing.

Mine lasts a good three hours if I'm using it offline for wordprocessing, much less if I'm watching a dvd.

Laptop 1 lasts about 2 hours

Laptop 2 lasts about 2.5-3 hours with one battery in it, upto 7 with two in it (though it is really heavy with both :))

But it does depend on what the usage is.

I get around 3 hours if not online watching dvds and about 1 and a half if offline.

Just bought one (why!!!??) and it lasts nearly three.

Might as well have gone for a new desktop.

One and a quarter hours online, but was told it would be at least 2 hours!

mine lasts about 45 mins at a push!
iv oni had it a year but it was re-conditioned so thats why.
but i was looking at prices of new ones and quiet frankly i dont rele think its worth is it?
