Laptop has locked me out!

Why on earth has my laptop locked me out? I am the administrator for it and last night it was working just fine. This morning however when I tried to log in with my usual username and password it wouldn't let me. I didn't enter the password incorrectly so don't know why this should be. Can anyone help?

Have a look to see if you have left capital lock on. Make sure you are using correct upper and lower case on your password.

Just did ctrl alt delete and it seemed to sort it out
