Which one have you seen?

I have a digital dvd recorder which records on to disks like a video, and is nothing like Sky+.

You can get PVRs with dual tuners that can work like Sky+
I got one a year ago, a Daewoo twin tuner Freeview, and it's the dogs proverbials. I have recorded a lot of stuff at times, but have still have had room for more, and the EPG is easy to use.
I think they are great and have got a Humax PVR 9200T with a hard drive and twin tuner. I haveactually got two of these in different rooms and they come out well in tests and reviews.
A larger disk 320GB model has just come out.
Make sure you have twin tuner. This often means you can record two channels and even watch a third ( same transmission group or MUX) or watch what you have recorded whilst recording. Watching from the start of something that is still recording the rest of the program I still find amazing.
