With the advent of Digital TV becoming the norm in the next few years, can somebody please advise on the following. I know that my existing VCR has an analogue tuner, and won't be very useable when the time arrives. Are DVD recorders that are on sale now "kitted" out with a digital tuner ? I know that DVD stands for DIGITAL versatile disc, but am still unsure about the tuner side of things. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Think you'll be hard pushed to find a digital tuner in a DVD recorder just now. I think there was a VCR with a digital tuner. I would link up my Freeview box or Sky and record from that.

Biggest problem I see is for those of us with more than one TV in the house! Each one is going to need a digital facility (or a video sender).

Should have looked first! Try Google on DVD Recorder with digital tuner. They mean Freeview of course.
