I am living in a rented flat, i have no sky dish but i have a digital aerial, if i put in a sky set top box will i be able to recieve freeview channels and maybe more channels?

Terrestrial and satellite signals are transmitted on different frequencies and with different types (if any) of encryption. If you connect a Sky box to a terrestrial aerial, you'll get nothing at all.

All you can do with your terrestrial aerial is to connect a Freeview box to it.
