Walking your cats.

Does anyone take their cats out for a walk on a lead? I have seen this a couple of times and found it very amusing. What do you think about it?

Siamese are traditionally walked on a lead.

I think it is sad, but not as sad as those cats that are never allowed outdoors.

Yes, I am aware there are some cats that are too nervous to go out and don't want to. That is different.

lol my cats end up all over the place so I dont think they'd like to be 'walked' I'd love to have a dog I could walk though!!

A friend of mine tried that with her cat.
He promptly walked backwards round the room, seemingly trying to reverse out of it until she took off the harness.

My cats don't go out the front door as I don't let them. They don't venture around my garden anyway.

I think the dogs on leads would probably frighten or chase the cats on leads anyway.

My two would have a hissy fit ( literally ) if I attempted to put a lead on them.
However I must confess that when my boy cat is asleep we sometimes see how many small objects like doll's hats and pens we can balance on him before he wakes up - the record is 17!

U might like to add to the collection. My old cat would never let me put anything on her.

Ooops! I meant to say that my cats only hang around my garden and don't venture anywhere else. Lol

Yeah, just like that, leelapops - great fun. Just found a photo we took last year and the items include my mobile, bar of chocolate, bow tie made from a hankie and a paper hat. Daft thing slept through it all.
