In time I aim to have a bengal cat and/or a savannah cat. I'm just wondering, as these cats will need to be walked, as a dog owner would you worry about your dog if you saw me walking along the same path a you? As in how would your dog react?

I would love to take them out on walks just like any dog would but sometimes i worry it wont always go well...

Any particular reason for wanting a cat like these, lumination?
I noticed you are going to train it to jump on your shoulder if a dog comes close to you,I'm afraid if you'd tried that when Max was about you'd have found your self with a rather large GSD set on your other shoulder.

hmmm seems like i will have to keep my wits about me.
hc4361 - these breeds are intelligent and can have a doglike mentality, im more of a cat fan than a dog and have done lots of research on the breeds and i just love them, would love to own one or five!! :)
If you're determined to have a large, pedigree cat that is to be a house cat have you thought about a Ragdoll? Much more suitable for you

Just had a look on line, these breeds are advertised for between £400 and £4000 per head.
And the Savannah isn't even a breed, it's a cross between a domestic cat and a Serval. And I repeat what I said previously, nothing says they have to be walked on a lead.
lumination - please read the attached article from the Bengal Cat Helpline - it will give you an idea of what you might be taking on.
